ENGLISH TEACHER assignment....

Okay... I want you to write a letter to your future english teacher about yourself as a reader. I want you to REALLY think about who you are as a reader. What you like, what you don't like, what you are good at, what you need to work on....
your letter should start like this:
Dear Future English Teacher,
I am going to introduce you to me, the reader. (you can change this... just an idea to help you get started with your letter)

Then you need to include the following:
* what you like to read
*what you don't like to read
* what you want to get better at
* what types of genres you like (you know, categories of books)
* your reading level
* if you think you are a good reader
* an example of a book you like
* an example of a book you did not like
* a book you would like to read....
* why reading is important to you - fun, you learn about the world beyond troy, for information, helps you get a good job

Remember to sign your letter like a letter

Sincerely,
Your future student
your name....


Have fun. Think about this one and put some effort in. You might not realize it but this matters.... more than you know.
