GOAL!!!

THE 6TH GRADERS HAVE OFFICIALLY REACHED THEIR SILVERWOOD FUNDRAISING GOAL!  

THIS MEANS ALL STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO GO ON THE SILVERWOOD TRIP FREE OF CHARGE - WELL DONE 6TH GRADE!

WE HAVE QUITE A FEW THANK YOUS TO HAND OUT ALONG THE WAY.....

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE PARENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS EFFORT THROUGH TIME, MONEY BAKING AND HARD WORK.  WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOU!

BOOKS MISSING!!! Please return....

STUDENTS.... PARENTS....

Many books from our classroom library are MISSING!  Please check your home (under beds... in between couch cushions... old backpacks... the car??) to see if you have any books that should be living in our classroom library!

I try very hard to keep our classroom collection well stocked and current.   However, as always, we come to this time of year with many titles that have disappeared!

These books may (but not definitely) say - Ms. Chanin - or Mrs. Downey - or Mr. Miller - on them....(they are collected from the past several years of 6th grade teachers).  Some books do not have any name on them.

PTA donates $$$ for 6th grade trip to Silverwood!

TROY PTA

Several 6th grade students attended the Tuesday May 5th PTA meeting at Morrison Elementary School in order to request a donation for the 6th grade Silverwood trip.  The students explained the purpose of the trip and the work they have done so far in order to raise funds.  The PTA generously agreed to donate $200 to our cause!  Wahoo!  Thank you PTA!!!!

Saturday's Car Wash Fundraiser!

The kids worked hard (mostly!!) for 3 hours.... with steady business. They earned $366... for Silverwood!!!
