Pets - on Wednesday! I know, you have a new puppy - and I'd love to meet him! But, we are just barely under control with kids in the classroom - let's wait until we get our act together and THEN we'll do some things with pets!

Mrs Chanin was supposed to bring diet coke with lime, which she didn't. So, I'm super mad. So I'm going to bring it tomorrow - at least try to bring it. We should bring pets on Wednesday what's your commet about that Mrs Chanin?

More Birthday Info!

Thank you for that lovely post, EL.... Yes, it's the big 39 on Monday (OLD!) but nobody needs to bring treats or presents! Okay, I admit it, a rock would be cool!

I'll bring some treats and we'll call it an excuse to have a little party, okay? (baby carrots and Diet Coke with Lime, right?)

Hope everyone has a great weekend - I'm planning a big week for our first full week in school!

Birthday

Guess who's birthday it is on monday? Mrs. Chanin is turning the big 39. Not that big but big. If you want you can bring treats, or a present if you want! Monday is the last day of august, scary right? The summer is offiically over. Rock climbing sunday - for ones that have never came! It's free. So if you want to bring a rock or somthing remeber the big 39. Have a fun weekend!

There will be climbing at the climbing wall on Sunday - 6 - 9pm. You must have a permission slip on file to climb the big wall - small wall does not require permission!

Crazy 2nd Day of School

Today was the 2nd day of schoo l- crazy but a fun day. We started off with P.E. Then we started to talk about reading. Our new class book is Downriver. To read more about the author go either to Downriver, Will Hobs or just type in Will Hobs. Our schedule is hard to remember but we will get used to it. Think about about if you want to do band and what instrument you want to play. Homework is to read your book and bring it back!

GOOD MORNING!

WELCOME TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!

Please choose a desk. Put your materials into the desk! If you have tissues, snacks, pencils or dry erase markers for the class, those go over by the sink. Hang any coats and backpacks in a cubby in the hall (you can choose for today - do you want them assigned?) Sharpen at least 2 pencils. If you have time, start filling out the WHO AM I paper on your desk (do not put your name on it!).

The bell will ring at 8:10 and 8:15!

Some of you might want to think about bringing gifts for Mr. Pearson! (He loves Chocolate!) No promises.... but it looks as if he will be making lunch and recess LONGER for this school year! Also new on the agenda.....
